This is the whole document. There is no longer version, no separate terms, and nothing in it that is not on this page. If a sentence here contradicts anything else we have written or said, this page is the one that counts.

1. What we guarantee

Every Clearstone pan is guaranteed for 25 years from the date you receive it against wearing out, warping, or otherwise failing to be a working pan.

We are able to write that because there is no coating on it. A coated pan carries a guarantee on a surface that is designed to wear away; ours has no applied surface, so there is nothing on it with a shorter life than the metal.

2. What you do if something goes wrong

Email hello@clearstone-cookware.com with a photograph of the problem.

That is the entire process. Specifically, you do not need:

• the receipt, the order number, or the original packaging;
• to have registered the pan, or to be the person who bought it;
• to prove how you used it, cleaned it, or stored it;
• to send the pan back before we send a replacement.

We reply within one working day. If we agree it has failed, we send a replacement free of charge. If we do not agree, we tell you why in writing, and you can still use the returns policy below.

3. What it does not cover

Being specific here is the point — a guarantee with no exclusions is either untrue or unread.

• Cosmetic change from use. The finish dulls, marks and discolours with heat and time. That is metal behaving like metal, and it does not affect how the pan cooks.
• Deliberate damage. If it has been cut, drilled, hammered or used as something other than a pan, that is not a manufacturing failure.
• Loss or theft. We are not an insurer.
• Handles from a third party. If it has been repaired or modified by someone else, we cannot stand behind that work.

Everything else is covered. There is no “improper care” clause, because we do not think it is reasonable to sell someone a pan and then blame them for using it.

4. The 100-day trial, separately

The guarantee is about failure. The trial is about whether you like it.

For 100 days from delivery you can send any Clearstone pan back for a full refund, for any reason or none, cooked on or not. We pay the return postage. There is no restocking fee and we do not ask you to justify it.

5. Your legal rights

Nothing on this page reduces your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing here replaces them. This guarantee and the 100-day trial are offered in addition to those rights, not instead of them.

6. If we stop trading

We are a new company, and it would be dishonest to publish a 25-year promise without addressing that.

If Clearstone ceases trading, this guarantee cannot be honoured by anyone else, and we will say so plainly rather than let a defunct company’s promise sit on the internet. That risk is real and it is the honest reason to weigh a new brand differently from an old one. It is also why the 100-day trial exists: the part of this that depends on us still being here is the part that starts in year two.

7. On prices

Clearstone does not run a permanent sale. We do not show a struck-through “was” price that nothing was ever sold at, we do not put a clock on the page, and we do not tell you how many other people are looking at it.

The price you see is the price. When it changes, it changes, and we will not pretend the new one is a limited-time rescue from the old one.
